Aware of social responsibility

At the centre: employees, partners and society

Sustainability at Klingele: social issues, employees and human rights

Responsibility is the foundation of our corporate philosophy. Also in the social sphere. Because we know that: Long-term and sustainable economic success can only be achieved if a company fulfils its responsibility towards its employees, partners and the community. We do this actively and according to defined values. People are at the centre of everything we do. We create positive working environments in which everyone can fulfil their potential. We provide training and further development.

The social dimension

Fair dealings with each other for the community

Focus on our employees and the surrounding communities to ensure a strong local connection and support.
Fair working conditions and continuous training to promote the growth and development of our workforce.
Respectful interaction and an appreciative working environment based on mutual respect and appreciation.
Social responsibility and active commitment to the community in order to make a positive contribution to social development.
Ensuring fair labour conditions and compliance with human rights and applicable social and environmental standards in our supply chain in order to ensure responsible and ethical business practices - not just within our company-

Our values

As a traditional family business, our firm principles are central to our management and culture.

As a traditional family business, we live and act according to firm principles. They play a central role in our corporate management, provide orientation and define our approach. As an integral part of our culture, they reflect our self-perception, offer consistency in a constantly changing industry and help us to remain authentic and focussed.

"The fundamental principles and convictions of our employees are anchored in our Klingele values. They guide us in our daily work, support our corporate goals and are of great value when recruiting new employees."

For us, safety comes first

Our process promotes occupational health and safety through training and risk assessment.

Our continuous improvement process guarantees ongoing development, also in terms of occupational safety. The health of our employees is our top priority. This starts with the right preparation: regular safety training, which is adapted to the respective locations and their specific challenges, is a matter of course for us. A sensible risk assessment helps us to identify and minimise potential hazards in the workplace - before anything happens. With these and many other measures, we create a culture of safety, minimise accidents and ultimately promote the well-being of each individual.

Diversity is not a foreign concept for us

We promote diversity and see it as the basis for innovation and progress in gender distribution and leadership positions.

Everyone is different, and that's a good thing. We actively encourage and promote diversity in our company. For us, this is the basis for inspiration - we believe that this is the only way to create something new. This is also documented in the guidelines for cooperation in the employee handbook. In practice, we are making continuous progress in terms of gender distribution in full-time positions, diversity in management positions and want to create space for everyone. As different as people are, they are all the same to us when it comes to these issues.
