With the Amazon Packaging Supplier Network (APASS), Amazon provides suppliers, manufacturers and sellers with a network that supports them in certifying their products as Prep Free Packaging (PFP), Ships in Own Container (SIOC) and Frustration-Free Packaging (FFP). Through this network, a list of companies and laboratories is available to assist in the testing, design and delivery of packaging in accordance with Amazon's APASS regulations. We thus ensure that the requirements for your packaging are met, for your business success.

As a member of the Amazon Packaging Support and Supplier Network (APASS), we provide expert support during the testing process for your packaging at Amazon and develop the right packaging solution for you to ensure that you fulfil Amazon's requirements. If ISTA6 certification is not required for your packaging, we can offer you a "short test". We will be happy to advise you.
Packaging certification in three stages
The Amazon Ships-in-Product Packaging Programme calls for different requirements, testing methods and certification procedures depending on the packaging.
It divides packaging into three categories:
- Frustration Free Packaging (FFP)
- Ships In Own Container (SIOC)
- Preparation Free Packaging (PFP)
The differentiation is based on the labour and effort Amazon has to commit to the packaging, but also on criteria such as sustainability and customer friendliness.
As a member of the APASS network, we have the expertise to determine which of the three categories suits your products and develop packaging solutions for you that are guaranteed to fulfil Amazon's requirements.
Packaging inspection according to ISTA
Amazon tests all frustration-free shipping packaging in accordance with the ISTA 6 (International Safe Transit Association) test standard in specially certified test laboratories.
The aim is to ensure adequate product protection during shipping and to avoid additional outer packaging by Amazon. But you also benefit from the certification of your packaging as frustration-free packaging - your advantages:
