We have been producing corrugated base paper for our mills and customers worldwide at our location in Weener since 1958. Our core products include testliner, flute paper and flexliner in various grammages made from recycled waste paper. Our water-repellent speciality paper Testliner HighSized is particularly noteworthy.
Sustainability plays a central role in Weener. We treat waste water biologically and generate the heat we need in our own on-site RDF power plant. Since 2011, a company-owned wind turbine has supplemented our power supply.
The plant in Weener is one of the first paper mills in Europe to be certified according to international environmental standards.

Energy production on the basis of substitute fuels
In addition to the paper mill, Klingele also operates a power plant in Weener, which has been supplying the paper mill with heat and electricity based on substitute fuels with 31 employees since 2008.
The mill has operates its own wind power plant which supplies emission-free electricity for our paper production as well as local homes and businesses.
Our own power generation capacities cover 90% of the local energy requirements at our paper mill in Weener.
