Our innovative thermoformed packaging combines functional product protection with a paper-based material composition. Designed for packaging fresh, refrigerated, and frozen foods, these packages are dimensionally stable and customizable. Depending on product requirements, they can be equipped with a functional barrier against grease, moisture, and oxygen.
In the design described, the trays consist of 96% paper and 4% of a grease- and water-repellent inner coating, based on their total weight. Defined requirements regarding material quality, origin, and sourcing apply to the paper content used.
After use, empty trays can be disposed of with waste paper, provided that local sorting and disposal regulations permit this. When disposed of properly, the paper fibers they contain can be sent for material recycling. Actual recycling depends on the specific material composition as well as local collection, sorting, and recycling systems.
