TREEMORE success story
Packaging for sending plants by letter post
TREEMORE success story
The shipping of plants is a sensitive matter due to the fragility of the products and requires sophisticated packaging concepts. The Dutch start-up TREEMORE also had other requirements: the start-up sends plant species from all over the world by post, including coffee plants, orange trees and cranberries; a card with information about the product is always enclosed. In line with Treemore's comprehensive sustainability concept, the start-up grows its plants in pots made from PLA (polylactic acid or polylactic acid); the pots are 3D printed using sustainable energy from Dutch soil. We have developed a very special packaging design for this special type of plant shipping - guaranteed to fit in any letterbox.

TREEMORE sends trees by post and combines its business model with an important commitment to the environment: one euro from the proceeds of every plant sold goes towards soil restoration to make depleted soils fertile again.
