Shut up the one hundred and third and action! Klingele celebrates staff à la Hollywood

100 years of logo

The Klingele Paper & Packaging Group is bringing glamour and a real Hollywood feeling to the factories of the Klingele Group as part of a two-day company celebration. On 16 June, however, it is not the ‘Who's Who’ of the film world that will be in the spotlight, but the employees of the Klingele Group. There will be simultaneous celebrations with live broadcasts at seven locations, from Remshalden to Tenerife. The previous evening, high-profile guests Günther Oettinger, Lukas-Pierre Bessis and Sascha Lobo will be invited to the headquarters in Remshalden.

The Klingele Paper & Packaging Group rolls out the red carpet! On 16 June, the company's main protagonists will be celebrated at seven of the Group's sites: the employees! The solidarity, a core value of the family business, could not be celebrated appropriately for the 100th anniversary in 2020 - the corona pandemic intervened. Klingele is now making up for this in cinematic style and celebrating the workforce, without whose commitment the Group's 103-year success story would not exist.

And the "Alfred" goes to...

The highlight of the company celebration on 16 June will be the premiere of the company film with blockbuster character: "PACK TO THE FUTURE" - a gripping sci-fi thriller in which the employees demonstrate their heroic qualities as a team. The screenplay was created under the direction of director and author Helge Weichmann, with the Managing Director, Dr Jan Klingele, also taking part. The film was shot at the seven Klingele Group locations celebrating the event: from Remshalden to Weener, Werne, Delmenhorst, Hilpoltstein, Monjos del Penedés near Barcelona and Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

After the event's "Film off!", the highlight of the evening is the "Alfred" award ceremony. Following the example of the founder, Alfred Klingele, the employees at the locations are honoured for their exceptional commitment during the shoot and also for their contribution to the company's success. With recurring live broadcasts to the seven participating locations in Germany and Spain, it will be an international celebration of solidarity in the truest sense of the word. "Our teams have achieved a great deal, especially during the coronavirus pandemic. I'm really looking forward to making this day an unforgettable experience for everyone involved," comments Dr Jan Klingele.

Glamour factor also for customers, partners and friends

The sneak preview under the motto "Passion for the perfect wave" takes place the evening before at the headquarters in Remshalden: Klingele turns the spotlight on customers, business partners and friends of the Group in the preview and celebrates the sometimes long-standing collaboration on a smaller scale. "Our customers particularly appreciate the quality of our advice and service and our willingness to find the best individual solution," says Dr Jan Klingele about the paper and packaging manufacturer's recipe for success. Attendees can expect exciting factory tours and an insight into the corporate values that have always driven the Klingele Group's success. Keynote speeches on the challenges of the future and a passion talk in which guests such as world champion hairdresser Dominik Buchfink, big wave surfer Freddy Olander and a secret surprise guest will talk about their personal connection to the perfect wave round off the glamorous event. Interested journalists can themselves become part of the partner event (15 June, from 3 pm) in Remshalden. All you need to do is register by 12 June 2023 at the following email address . If you are interested, we will also send you a selection of pictures of the company celebration of the staff (16 June) afterwards.

Star staffing as a constant: employees as an innovation and success factor

Real blockbusters instead of B-movies! Thanks to their outstanding performance, the employees of the Klingele Group have transformed the family business founded by Alfred Klingele in 1920 from a corrugated paper factory in Baden into a global player that produces on three continents, including in less established growth markets such as Cuba, the French Antilles, Mauritania and Senegal.

The driving values are courage, passion for the perfect wave and responsibility - especially towards the environment. In 2019, Klingele was honoured with the "World Corrugated Award" as the world's most environmentally friendly company in the industry for its environmentally friendly and resource-saving strategy. "In the future, we will be required even more than today to utilise technologies, apply expertise and put our heart and soul into making our business models more sustainable. This will be a challenge for the next 100 years and we are looking forward to it," explains Dr Jan Klingele, setting the course for the future
