Klingele Best Practices: Developing better packaging for your products in partnership

Klingele Best Practices

Developing packaging that fits your products perfectly - that is one of Klingele's greatest strengths. Take a look at two current practical examples in which we have created customised solutions for new products together with our contacts.

At Klingele, we attach great importance to working with you - our customers - to develop the best possible solution for your products. The following two examples show how we ensure that your goods get from A to B safely packaged according to their individual requirements.

3x3: Send complex bicycle components protected

Since 2014, 3X3, a brand of H+B Hightech GmbH, has specialised in gears for bicycles that are designed to make cycling easier. Due to its complex inner workings, the new 3X3 NINE precision hub requires packaging that protects it particularly well from external influences.

Our solution? A two-part inlay that fixes the 3X3 NINE inside the outer packaging and protects it from damage. The two-part inlay can also be used as a bearing shell during the subsequent assembly process. Thanks to the specially selected size, the inlay also fits into Euroboxes in addition to the outer carton, which can then be used several times. Thanks to close development work between us and our customer, nothing stands in the way of safe shipping.

BrushBoxx: Partnership-based collaboration right from the product development stage

New cable bushing for data centres: the start-up BrushBoxx, which manufactures technical brushes for special applications in the data centre, agriculture and wind power sectors, improves cooling and energy efficiency in data centres with its BrushLock product. Stable, stackable, space-saving - in addition to the time factor, the requirements for the packaging of the BrushLock could only be met through close development work.

The solution: customised packaging without plastic that is particularly stable so that it does not require any outer packaging. Stackable on pallets, the product can be dispatched in large quantities. Thanks to the printable outside, the packaging also serves as an advertising space and takes up little space even after use thanks to an optimised folding technique.
