Christina Lauber joins Klingele Paper & Packaging Group management team
On 1 July, the management of the Klingele Paper & Packaging Group, one of the leading independent manufacturers of corrugated base paper and corrugated packaging, was expanded to include a new member: Christina Lauber is taking over the management of the ‘Group Services & Integration’ division. This decision is a further consistent step towards optimally aligning the organisational structure of the internationally operating group of companies with the complex requirements and further growth. Lauber was previously managing director of Badischer Wein GmbH.
The division combines the functions of IT, marketing, human resources, sustainability and compliance into one central unit. The division is designed to meaningfully combine synergies in the respective areas across the entire group. The aim is to bring together common goals, culture and values, as well as to ensure intensive cooperation in the various areas.
An eye for the bigger picture in international and diversified companies
In Christina Lauber, Klingele has gained a personality who brings with her a wealth of experience in dealing with the complex challenges of decentralised structures. During her studies, the graduate economist already focused on corporate management and marketing. More than 30 years in sales and marketing management, including international responsibilities at consumer goods companies and the last ten years as managing director in the beverage industry, have sharpened her view of the interrelationships in companies, from marketing and sales to human resources, production processes, IT, procurement and cost management. She also focused on the political and structural environment in which companies operate.
Klingele is not an unknown company to the 55-year-old manager: in her previous role as managing director, Christina Lauber got to know the packaging specialist as a reliable and high-performing supplier. And as a Stuttgart native, she particularly values the stable and growing family business, which focuses on innovative and future-oriented development while also caring for people.
Strategic leadership and brand positioning at Klingele
‘Christina Lauber has excellent expertise in marketing and sales, valuable experience in the strategic leadership and positioning of strong brands and in the development of synergies in complex corporate structures. We are delighted that she is completing our management team,’ says managing partner Dr Jan Klingele.
As a new member of the management team, Christina Lauber faces interesting and exciting tasks with the aim of forming central units across the group from the divisions that have grown strongly in recent years. Of course, such a process cannot be achieved overnight. ‘I will certainly use the famous first 100 days to get to know the teams in the areas for which I am responsible and to learn more about the tasks and challenges.’ That is Christina Lauber's plan, and when she adds “I am very much looking forward to it”, the dynamism she brings with her is unmistakable.
