We are delighted that our sustainability performance has been recognised: Klingele Paper & Packaging SE & Co. KG has been awarded the silver medal by EcoVadis. With 72 out of 100 points, we are among the top 15% of all companies assessed worldwide - a clear sign of our ongoing commitment to sustainability.
The EcoVadis account of Klingele Paper & Packaging SE & Co KG, which includes the central administration and our four corrugated cardboard plants in Delmenhorst, Grunbach, Hilpoltstein and Werne, was assessed. The assessment included the areas of environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
The award shows: Sustainability is increasingly being integrated into Klingele's structures, processes and day-to-day work. It is practised every day by many colleagues across departmental and site boundaries.
What is particularly important for us is that we were able to further improve our score compared to the previous EcoVadis assessment. This development confirms that we are on the right track - and at the same time motivates us to continue consistently. We don't see the silver medal as a goal, but rather as an incentive to continuously improve our measures, processes and transparency.
Klingele Plus GmbH was also awarded the EcoVadis gold medal. A new assessment is already scheduled for February and emphasises our commitment to continuously developing our sustainability performance throughout the Group.
Sustainability remains a dynamic process for us. The EcoVadis award encourages us to continue along this path step by step - responsibly, transparently and with clear ambitions for the future.
