Managing Partner, CEO. Leads the family business in the 3rd generation.
- Born on 12 December 1962 in Heidelberg as the son of Dr Werner Fred Klingele and Dr Brigitte Klingele
- School years in Stuttgart
- Studied business administration at the University of St. Gallen
- Doctorate in economics at the University of Stuttgart-Hohenheim and the Anderson Graduate School of Management (UCLA) in Los Angeles on "The development of multinational companies"
- Worked abroad, including in the USA, Switzerland, South Africa, Spain, Australia and Canada
- After the death of his father in 1992, management of the Klingele Papierwerke family business group
- From 2010 to 2016, management of the German "Verbandes der Wellpappenindustrie" (VDW) as Chairman
- From 2012 to 2016 Vice President, from 2016 to 2020 President and since mid-2020 again Vice President of the Federation of European Corrugated Cardboard Manufacturers (FEFCO)
- Chairman of the International Corrugated Case Association (ICCA) from 2020 to 2022
- Active in numerous other associations, including on the board of “Unternehmer Baden-Württemberg" (UBW), the “Landesverband der Industrie" (LVI), the “Vereinigung Pack- und Wellpappenpapiere”, and “Die Papierindustrie” as Vice Chairman of the “Wirtschaftsverbände Papierverarbeitung" (WPV) as Chairman of the major consumer association “Energie Baden-Württemberg e.V.” and several years of service on the board (at times as Deputy/Second Federal Chairman) of the “Bundesverbandes junger Unternehmer" (BJU)
