Klingele Group will present a holistic concept at FachPack

"Packaging 6.0" answers all the relevant questions relating to the packaging process

Remshalden/Stuttgart, 12 May 2015 – The Klingele Group, one of the leading independent manufacturers of corrugated raw paper cardboard and packaging made from corrugated card, will present a holistic concept at the FachPack trade fair in Nuremberg. "Packaging 6.0 not only offers economic and environmental solutions, but also takes a holistic view of all of our customers' requirements and therefore represents the intelligent networking of processes", explains Dr. Jan Klingele, CEO of the Klingele Group.

The conceptual similarity to Industry 4.0 is intentional. "Packaging 6.0" represents an overall understanding of the packaging process, which is characterised by six key aspects (hence 6.0) for Klingele. "The concept can be described as holistic because we feel it is our duty as a packaging manufacturer serving our customers not only to know the customer's packaging process as such, but also their entire supply chain and to be jointly responsible for optimising it", explains Dr. Klingele.

Packaging-related supply chain under control

Dr. Jan Klingele, who is also president of the German Corrugated Board Industry Association and has been a proven industry expert for decades, is aware of the growing complexity and customers' associated issues. No matter whether you are a small or medium-sized company or a global organisation, Klingele will provide answers to all of these questions in Nuremberg.

"Packaging 6.0" encompasses all major aspects of the supply chain that relate to packaging. What innovations can be made in packaging development? How can the entire packaging process and logistics be made more efficient? Or how is the aspect of sustainability taken into account? "We want to understand our customers and work with them to develop the right products for them to ensure that they notice the benefits. We are therefore a major driving force in ensuring the competitiveness of our customers, thereby creating room for growth, and with this concept, clearly setting ourselves apart from the competition".

Stand with six themed islands

The focus on the Klingele stand will be on six themed islands (understand, invent, optimise, grow, protect, move) illustrating the integrated overall packaging process rather than on different product developments. They give examples to explain all relevant aspects in the packaging process in a very intuitive and comprehensive way, thus giving the fair visitors concrete answers to the above-mentioned questions.
