Klingele Group launches its "Smileypack" online shop

Remshalden/Stuttgart, 4 December 2014  The Klingele Group – one of the leading producers of corrugated raw paper cardboard and packaging – in cooperation with its subsidiary "Packen mit System", announced the market launch of its new online shop The online shop covers the entire range of products of "Blenk Verpackungen", a subsidiary of Klingele. This includes standardised packaging, which is particularly suitable for online sales and geared towards a variety of audiences and requirements. Industry-specific solutions, online and offline packaging advising, and customer-oriented menus simplify the selection of the right product and the purchasing process.


Industry solutions and individual advice

Smileypack is an innovative and at the same time very customer-oriented marketplace for packaging materials and professional packing solutions on the Internet. The participation of other manufacturers has been also explicitly planned - assuming there is no more than ten percent overlap in the product portfolio.

This marketplace revolves around customer service with industry-specific solutions and a packaging advisor. The Industry finder guides the customer directly to the most appropriate packaging for the specific business industry. 



Perfect packaging in five steps

The packaging advisor guides the customer in five easy steps to the ideal packaging for the individual application. Each step enables the customer to evaluate the importance of various criteria such as packaging size, stability, protection, handling and eco-friendliness. Based on this, product suggestions are then given according to customer priorities and specifications.

No other offer on the net is so targeted, demand-specific and practical, and laid out in such an understandable language based on the use of the packaging and its resulting requirements. The online tool is further enhanced by offering personal advice over the phone through a network of specialist consultants. Frequent and bulk customers also come to enjoy additional services such as the application of special conditions. The combination of expert know-how, a comprehensive range of products and customer service provides an overall pleasant shopping experience. Smileypack has no minimum order requirements and purchases are delivered free of charge.



Turning the internet into a sales channel

The launch of "Smileypack" has been a success and the next steps have already been planned: In the beginning of 2015, Blenk will go online with a service portal, which gives existing customers the possibility to place orders 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in an easy way, while giving them access to an overview of their entire customer history plus other services.
