Remshalden, 7 July 2022 – On 1 July, the Management Board at Klingele Paper & Packaging Group, one of the leading independent manufacturers of corrugated base paper and corrugated cardboard packaging, gained a new member. Christina Lauber has assumed responsibility for the Group Services & Integration division. This decision represents another logical step towards better aligning the internationally active group’s organisational structure with the complex requirements and further growth. Lauber was previously Managing Director of Badischer Wein GmbH.
As a central unit, the management division combines the functions of IT, marketing, human resources, sustainability and compliance. The division aims to create purposeful synergies in the corresponding areas across the entire Group while bringing together common goals, culture and values and ensuring close collaboration in the various areas.
Focus on connections between international and diversified companies
With Christina Lauber, Klingele has gained an expert with extensive experience of the multifaceted challenges of decentralised structures. She specialised in business management and marketing as part of her economics degree. Having spent over 30 years in managerial positions in sales and marketing – including with international responsibility at consumer goods companies – and the last ten years as a managing director in the beverage industry, she has a honed understanding of interrelationships in a wide range of companies, from marketing through sales to human resources, production processes, IT, procurement and cost management. She also demonstrated a keen focus on the political and structural environment in which companies operate.
The 55-year-old manager was already known to Klingele – in her role as Managing Director, Christina Lauber had ongoing contact with the packaging specialist as a reliable and high-performance supplier. And as a Stuttgart native, she especially appreciates the values of a steadily growing family-run company which, under the adage of ‘caring for people’, is firmly committed to innovative and future-focused development.
Strategic management and brand positioning at Klingele
“Christina Lauber possesses exceptional knowledge of marketing and sales and has valuable experience in the strategic management and positioning of strong brands and the development of synergies in complex company structures. We are delighted to have her complete our management team,” states Managing Partner Dr Jan Klingele.
As a new member of the Management Board, Christina Lauber will be taking on interesting and exciting tasks with the aim of forming central units across the Group from each of the business areas that have experienced strong growth in recent years. Of course, such a process cannot happen overnight. “I will definitely be using the famous first 100 days to get to know the teams in the areas I am responsible for and to find out more about the tasks and challenges ahead,” explains Christina Lauber when outlining her plan. Her quick addition of ‘I’m really looking forward to it!’ is an unequivocal testament to the dynamism she brings with her.
